The bytes of knowledge elearning divison produced Things Japanese in Tennessee for the Japan-America Society of Tennessee. The project was made possible by a grant from Toshiba and in-kind donations from bytes of knowledge and Ichiban restaurant. Additional units are planned in the future as grants are awarded.

This title page welcomes the audience to the presentation. Included in this demonstration is a short introduction to the course.	To simulate some of the fun of a Japanese conveyor-style restaurant, this Knowledge Check is answered by dragging the correct plates off the conveyor and onto the table.
To highlight the variety of Japanese firms located across the state, this interaction asks the user to move the company names to their appropriate regions on the map.	A pronunciation guide for Japanese meats and vegetables helps the learner say and understand common Japanese food names.
